3、 Technical points for customs clearance of imported food:

1. chocolate, jam, jelly, etc. have high temperature requirements. In case of high temperature, refrigerated transportation shall be selected.

2. preservatives and additives added in food ingredients must meet the national standards. If they do not meet the national standards, the commodity inspection commission will require them to be returned or destroyed.

3. the original package of the product shall show the production date, shelf life and the registration number of the overseas food production enterprise.

4. when making Chinese labels, it is necessary to check whether the total energy value in the nutrient composition table meets the requirements, and compare it with the test data provided by the manufacturer through calculation.

5. as some snack foods have little or no preservatives added, the shelf life is relatively short, and the requirements for import customs clearance time are high. Therefore, to shorten the customs clearance time, all information must be provided before shipment.

6. the probability of customs and commodity inspection of imported food is very high, and the Chinese label, origin and production date of the product are strictly checked in the routine inspection.
